WIDE SPREAD
WVT offers the possibility to convert all MAN TGS/TGX vehicles with a powered tandem axle to Wide Spread (WS). Construction height, chassis length and suspension of the vehicle have no influence on the possibilities. Wide Spread can also be combined with a vehicle fitted with Hydrodrive®.

LEADING AXLE
WVT supplies leading axles (VLA) for the two, three and four-axle MAN TGS/TGX vehicles. The leading axles can be supplied as MAN Vo/Vok-09-05 axle with a technical axle load of 9,000 kg or as a RoR axle with a technical axle load of 12,000 kg. The choice depends on the intended use, the desired total weight of the vehicle and the preference of you as a user.

TRAILING AXLE
WVT supplies trailing axles (NLA) for the two, three and four-axle MAN TGS/TGX vehicles. The trailing axles supplied by WVT are RoR axles with a technical axle load of 12,200 kg. The trailing axle is air-suspended, whereby the axle-load control takes place electronically. For good traction in loaded and unloaded condition, a traction control system is fitted as standard. The axle load reduction can be set here, depending on your wishes and the configuration, among other things.

WIDE SPREAD + LEADING AXLE
WVT Wide Spread can also be combined with a Leading axle (WSA). A hydropneumatically spring arrangement of 3 axles is constructed, while all the advantages of the WVT Wide Spread are retained they are extended with a maximum of 10,000 kg of permissible load capacity by the leading axle (technically up to 12,000 kg). This allows the permitted maximum GVW to be reached, namely 50,000 kg. The best of both ensures an extremely manoeuvrable and stable vehicle.

SPECIALS
Advancing technological developments result in new market demands. In addition to the standard customised solutions from WVT, there are various solutions that have never been built before and are completely unique. WVT carries out these assignments under the Special Products label. Products and vehicle modifications that are not directly related to the axle configuration also fall under this category.

The perfect axle configuration is of great importance to maximise the use of a vehicle and to ensure that it can perform optimally.Sometimes it is very clear which axle configuration is needed to optimally deploy a vehicle. Sometimes that’s not the case and it is good to list all the alternatives. We are happy to do this together with you.
